Withdrawal Management services, also known as detox, have been in operation at CODA’s Beaverton Recovery Center (BRC) since its opening in October 2025.

Withdrawal Management is to see people through the withdrawal period of highest medical risk under medical supervision. In general:

  • The average length of stay is 3-5 days;
  • There are 16 beds in the BRC unit, with capacity for both male- and female-identifying individuals;
  • Medication is offered as part of the treatment plan; and
  • The unit is staffed 24/7.

Now BRC has expanded access to the program by accepting walk-in patients. To access the detox program, patients can simply show up to BRC, at 17911 NW Evergreen Place in Beaverton, anytime between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. (After 3:00 p.m. on weekdays, prospective patients may call CODA’s general Admissions line (503-239-8400) for after-hours screening or next steps.) Weekend hours for walk-ins are 8:00 to noon Saturday and Sunday.

As always, once they have completed the Withdrawal Management treatment, patients may choose to continue their recovery by entering any of CODA’s Residential, Outpatient, or Opioid Treatment Programs.

Withdrawal Management is not a one-time event, but an opportunity to introduce the possibility of recovery. CODA relies on a core team of nursing staff, recovery mentors, and centralized admissions to ensure patients receive informed, comprehensive care.

The evidence-based addiction treatment provided by CODA increases the chances for recovery and can stabilize the negative progression and acute symptoms of the disease.  It provides patients with skills and tools to make positive changes, prevent relapse and helps patients learn how to manage their disease effectively.
