In a joint effort with Washington County, CODA will be opening the Center for Addictions Triage and Treatment (CATT) Beaverton Recovery Center (BRC) this fall.

The BRC will offer a modern, comfortable, and safe setting for 24/7, residential-based treatment of substance use disorders. Services vary in length of stay and intensity, and feature integrated addiction medicine, evidence-based curriculum, and patient-led care across all programs. All services at BRC will also benefit from:

  • Centralized screening and admissions,
  • Connection to essential community supports,
  • Seamless care transitions,
  • Coordinated access to all CODA programs, and
  • Connection to other CATT services located at the Hillsboro Recovery Center.

Slated to open in mid to late November, the CATT BRC will offer the county and surrounding communities a significant expansion in capacity for the treatment of a range of substance use disorders, including alcohol, opioids, and stimulants.

The BRC represents substantial increases in treatment availability, including the following:

Withdrawal Management (16 beds; 3-5 day stay)

  • Withdrawal management (also known as detox) is to see people through the withdrawal period of highest risk under medical supervision. BRC’s Withdrawal Management services emphasize immediate safety while supporting patients to develop a commitment to continued recovery.

Residential Treatment (48 beds: 24 for male-identifying individuals and 24 for female-identifying individuals; 90 day stay)

  • Residential services provide patients with a safe and structured therapeutic environment where they can achieve stability and set a path toward recovery.

Additional services coming soon after opening include:

  • Sobering: a safe and supportive environment for intoxicated individuals (16 beds; 24-hour stay max)
  • Transitional: short-term program for patients leaving BRC Residential (6 beds; 7-day stay max)
