We are marking our 45th year as a treatment agency!
Speaking to nearly 80 guests at CODA’s Birthday Lunch on March 13, Executive Director Tim Hartnett reminded his listeners that “CODA has always rejected the notion of one-size-fits-all treatment.” Throughout its history, he said, “the people at CODA have been driven to find what works best to help the people we serve, one patient at a time.”
Among the guests were representatives from the State of Oregon, Washington and Multnomah County agencies, insurance companies including Family Care and Health Share, funders, community partners, vendors and people who have donated goods, services and monies to us. Sponsors for the event were J.D. Fulwiler and Company Insurance, Lane, Powell, Attorneys & Counselors and Wells Fargo Business Banking.
Speakers at the event provided overviews of CODA’s continuum of evidenced-based care, research projects, and the expansion of its services over the years to include outpatient, medically monitored detox, residential treatment and supported housing, including two Stepping Stones houses serving women reuniting with their children who have been in foster care.
