CODA’s latest campaign is asking women to donate new or gently used bras, underwear, and new packages of feminine products to help women who are rebuilding their lives and health in our Stepping Stones transitional housing. Many of the women who come to us need these items and do not have the means to buy them.

Hence the name and slogan: “Unmentionables: Because we all need a little support!”

In addition, we are also gathering new or gently used toys and art for use in CODA’s childcare centers.

CODA has two Stepping Stones houses –  we are committed to early reunification of mothers and their children who have been in foster care, as well as wraparound services for women and their children.

Unmentionables is chaired by Katrina Wheeler, activist and spouse of Oregon State Treasurer Ted Wheeler.

For more info about where and when to drop off items, check out CODA’s Facebook page and the event page for Unmentionables.
